Traditional butter cake (400 g) with a delicious marzipan imprint of your choice. Upload a photo in JPG or PNG format. Other file types are not supported. The butter cakes are shipped fresh and have a shelf life of 3 weeks.

Bewust geproduceerd.

Bij het verpakken wordt kritisch gekeken: wat is echt nodig – en wat kan weg? Overbodige lagen worden weggelaten en plastic wordt waar mogelijk vermeden. Alles met het oog op minder afval. Zo komen de producten van Bakkerij van de Berg niet alleen vers aan, maar ook goed verpakt voor de wereld van morgen.

Minimale CO2.

Restwarmte? Die krijgt gewoon een tweede leven. Dankzij slimme warmteterugwinning (WTW) wordt de energie die al is opgewekt opnieuw ingezet in het proces. En ook de koelinstallaties worden zorgvuldig gekozen – zuinig én schoon. Achter de schermen draait het productieproces zo efficiënt mogelijk, met een warme blik op de toekomst én een koel hoofd als het gaat om uitstoot.

Langdurig plezier.

Wat niet wordt verkocht bij Bakkerij van de Berg, wordt niet verspild. Retourstromen krijgen een mooie nieuwe bestemming: van Voedselbank tot nachtopvang, van Too Good To Go tot diervoeders. Zo stopt het verhaal van een gebakje niet bij sluitingstijd, maar krijgt het een tweede kans om iets goeds te doen.

Lokaal geregeld.

Er wordt gewerkt met zoveel mogelijk ingrediënten van Nederlandse bodem. Wat lokaal kan, wordt ook echt lokaal geregeld – van inkoop tot bewerking. Zo blijft het ambacht dichtbij én houd je zicht op kwaliteit van begin tot eind.

Sociaal verantwoord.

Mensen met een afstand tot de arbeidsmarkt krijgen volop kansen om mee te draaien, en als erkend leerbedrijf wordt de nieuwe generatie met open armen ontvangen – rechtstreeks de praktijk in, handen uit de mouwen.

Maar het gaat verder dan de eigen bakkerij. Bakkerij van de Berg draagt actief bij aan lokale sportverenigingen, kerken en evenementen in de regio – soms met broodjes, soms met financiële steun, altijd met een warm hart. Ook over de grens wordt impact gemaakt: via Stichting Hoop voor Albanië worden al meer dan 25 jaar goederen en hulp gestuurd naar mensen die het hard nodig hebben. Geen loze belofte, maar echte betrokkenheid – vanuit een overtuiging dat iedereen recht heeft op een eerlijke kans.

En de cacao in de chocolade? Die draagt het UTZ-keurmerk. Dat betekent dat boeren op een duurzame manier werken, eerlijke prijzen ontvangen en zorgen voor mens én milieu. Alles bij elkaar een mix van lokale liefde, internationale impact en een stevige portie sociaal bewustzijn.
