Bewust geproduceerd.

Bij elk cadeau draait het niet alleen om wat erin zit, maar ook om wat eromheen zit. De kartonnen sleeves en doosjes zijn gemaakt van FSC-gecertificeerd materiaal en volledig recyclebaar. Er is bewust gekozen om zo min mogelijk materiaal te gebruiken, want minder verspilling betekent meer waarde. Zo wordt niet alleen de ontvanger blij van dit cadeau, maar ook de wereld eromheen.

Minimale CO2.

Bij Chocoladegift wordt er achter de schermen hard gewerkt aan het verkleinen van de ecologische voetafdruk. Denk aan initiatieven zoals carbon offsetting en de ambitie om CO₂-neutraal gecertificeerd te worden. En als de cadeautjes op reis gaan? Dan gebeurt dat via een vervoerder die álle zendingen 100% CO₂-neutraal bezorgt. Elk pakketje dat de deur uitgaat, reist dus zo duurzaam mogelijk naar zijn nieuwe thuis.

Geen massaproductie of overschotten: alleen verse, handgemaakte bonbons die precies op bestelling worden gemaakt. Zo blijft het ambacht behouden én wordt verspilling tegengegaan. De cacao die Chocoladegift gebruikt, is gecertificeerd door de keurmerken Fair Trade, Rainforest Alliance en Cocoa Horizons. Zo wordt er gegarandeerd dat de teelt duurzaam is, de arbeidsomstandigheden eerlijk zijn en mens én natuur met respect worden behandeld.
