Bewust geproduceerd.

De chocolade is gemaakt van 100% duurzame cacao van Cocoa Horizons, afkomstig van het Belgische topmerk Barry Callebaut. Ook aan de buitenkant is gedacht: de verpakkingen zijn grotendeels van FSC®-gecertificeerd karton en papier, zonder onnodig plastic. Bij iedere grote nieuwe productie wordt bewust gezocht naar alternatieven, zoals in 2024 bij de milieuvriendelijke Sinterklaasletters. Geen kunststof, geen folie – alleen papier en karton. Dat is pas écht bewust schenken.

Sociaal verantwoord.

Een goed cadeau geeft ook iets terug. Dankzij Cocoa Horizons – een stichting die boeren ondersteunt met eerlijke kansen, slimme bedrijfsplannen en aandacht voor kinderen en natuur – krijgt de chocolade een positieve impact mee. De cacao komt uit duurzaam geproduceerde recepten van het Belgische merk Barry Callebaut, speciaal ontwikkeld om zelfvoorzienende gemeenschappen te versterken. Ook op lokaal niveau wordt gekeken naar hoe het beter kan. Werk wordt waar mogelijk uitbesteed aan mensen met een afstand tot de arbeidsmarkt en via het MVO-platform Kom’mit wordt actief bijgedragen aan een inclusieve en verantwoorde werkomgeving. Want écht duurzaam zit niet alleen in wat je geeft, maar ook in wie erachter staat.
