This summery BloomsBox is a colourful gift with impact. Two nectar-rich Campanulas, a bee hotel and a smart water reservoir, all in one sustainable box. 100% circular, CO2-neutral and... customisable! Have your logo engraved on the side of the box. Bewust geproduceerd.

Duurzaamheid zit in elk detail. De enorme hoeveelheid afval bij bloemen en planten vroeg om een nieuw concept. Daarom is de BloomsBox slim ontworpen: de verzendverpakking is direct de plantenpot! Al het papier is PaperWise papier, met een 47% lagere milieu-impact dan FSC-papier. De BloomsBox zelf is gemaakt van FSC-gecertificeerd Europees dennenhout, met een binnenbekleding van gerecycled karton en plantenpotjes van bamboepapier. Een groene keuze die écht verschil maakt.

Minimale CO2.

Slimmer produceren, minder uitstoot. De productielocatie in Utrecht is volledig energieneutraal en de BloomsBox Medium heeft een CO2-footprint van slechts 3,23 kg – dat is de helft van een gewone bos bloemen! 

Langdurig plezier.

Een cadeau dat blijft groeien. Dankzij het slimme watergeefsysteem blijven de planten gezond, zelfs als er een week geen water wordt gegeven. Gemiddeld staat een BloomsBox 8 maanden te stralen, maar er zijn ook exemplaren die na 3 jaar nog steeds floreren.

Lokaal geregeld.

Duurzaamheid begint dichtbij huis. De houten kistjes worden in Europa geproduceerd – geen overbodige wereldreizen. Het hout komt uit Nederland en Polen, en alle planten zijn van Nederlandse kwekers met een MPS-A en GAP-keurmerk. De productie? Die vindt gewoon plaats in Utrecht, in een energieneutrale locatie.

Sociaal verantwoord.

Duurzaamheid gaat verder dan het milieu. Blooms out of the Box werkt samen met sociale werkbedrijven UW en Reinaerde in Utrecht. Hier krijgen mensen met een afstand tot de arbeidsmarkt de kans om mee te werken aan de productie. Als Social Enterprise zet Blooms zich in voor een inclusieve en eerlijke werkomgeving – want samen maken we de wereld een stukje mooier.
