A cleaner planet.
A cleaner planet calls for action. That’s why, at Looff, we make conscious choices in everything we do. From our product range to our platform and our own business operations, we’re always looking for ways to reduce our environmental impact.
We measure our emissions, work to reduce them, and offset the emissions we can’t yet reduce. At the same time, we encourage customers and suppliers to make greener choices.
Step by step, we’re building a cleaner planet together.

Greener choices.
We create the greatest impact through the products we offer. That’s why we look beyond the product itself and also consider how and where it is made.
We like to work with suppliers who choose sustainable packaging, natural materials and the most efficient supply chain possible. Wherever we can, we also prioritise local products and reduce unnecessary transport kilometres.
Through our platform, we make these sustainable features visible, so customers can easily compare products and make greener choices.
Our CO₂ approach.
Our approach is simple: measure, reduce and offset. Every year, we measure our full CO₂ emissions to understand our impact and identify opportunities to reduce it further.
We offset the emissions from our own business operations that we cannot yet reduce via certified climate projects. At the same time, we continue to work on reducing emissions across our entire value chain.
Rimba Raya Biodiversity Reserve
Location: Indonesia
This initiative protects the tropical forests of Central Kalimantan on Borneo, where the palm oil industry threatens its rich biodiversity. The Rimba Raya project safeguards more than 65,000 hectares of tropical peat forest, providing a vital habitat for endangered species such as the orangutan.
At the same time, the project creates lasting social and health benefits for local communities.

Energy Solar Power
Location: India
This project delivers clean solar energy across three Indian states that are heavily dependent on fossil fuels. Over the next 10 years, it is expected to replace around 4,354,646 tonnes of CO₂ per year, while helping to bridge the gap between electricity demand and supply. The project also indirectly creates employment and supports the local economy through new infrastructure and a reliable energy supply.

Safe Water Project
Location: Uganda
The certified Safe Water Project in Lango, Uganda, is a carbon project that not only provides access to safe drinking water but also has a positive impact on gender equality. By restoring hand pumps, remote rural communities gain access to clean water—a game changer for areas with limited infrastructure.

Doing business sustainably.
For us, sustainability doesn’t stop at our product range. We also make conscious choices within our own business operations to reduce our environmental impact.
For example, our platform runs on green hosting, we invest in electric transport, and we continuously work to improve our sustainability performance. Our B Corp and EcoVadis Gold certifications reflect our commitment to making sustainability a structural part of the way we do business.
Behind the scenes, we continue to measure our impact and look for new ways to become even more sustainable.
"A cleaner planet doesn't ask for perfection, but for the willingness to keep making better choices."
